Sheveluch Volcano, Russia - John Seach

A dome collapse has occurred at Sheveluch volcano in Russia on 13th September. The south western side of the dome collapsed creating ash which rose to 6500 m above sea level. The ash plume drifted 100 km NE. The dome collapse was accompanied by lava flows. Sheveluch is one of the most active volcanoes in Kamchatka.
