Turrialba Volcano, Costa Rica - John Seach

Volcanic activity has increased at Turrialba volcano in Costa Rica. Yesterday, a thick white column of gas was emitted from the crater. Unrest began at the volcano in August 2007, when new fractures and fumaroles formed. The last eruption of Turrialba volcano in 1886 covered most of Costa Rica in ash.
