Kilauea Volcano, Hawaii - John Seach

A number of small explosions occurred at the summit of Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii on 12th October 2008. The explosions ejected ash and projectiles. The explosions were accompanied by earthquakes. One explosion produced a booming noise which was heard by nearby observers. On the east rift zone, lava continues to flow through tube system to the sea.
