Tshibinda Volcano, Democratic Republic of Congo - John Seach

A large earthquake occurred under Tshibinda volcano on 3rd February, 2008 at 9:34 am , local time. The earthquake measured magnitude 6.0, and caused 23 deaths, and hundreds of casualties. Tshibinda is a dormant volcano located in Democratic Republic of Congo, close to the border with Rwanda. A magnitude 5.0 aftershock was registered 3.5 hours later 16 km SE across the border in Rwanda.
