Lava has reappeared at Kilauea volcano after a pause of 12 days. On Monday between 8-9am Hawaiian time, lava was first seen in the bottom of Pu‘u ‘Ō‘ō crater during a helicopter overflight. By the afternoon lava was visible flowing across the crater floor.
