Taal Volcano, Philippines - John Seach

Taal volcano in the Philippines showed signs of unrest today when two volcanic earthquakes measuring 2 and 3 were felt at Pira-piraso village. The seismic unrest was accompanied by rumbling around 2:30 am this morning. A total of eight volcanic earthquakes were measured by PHIVOLCS seismographs. There has been no change to the alert status at the volcano. The last eruption of Taal volcano was in 1977.
