Bulusan Volcano, Philippines

Bulusan volcano erupted ash today to an altitude of 1000 m above the crater. Ash from the 11:56 a.m. explosion drifted north-northwest. The activity was accompanied by audible rumblings and was reflected in the seismograms as an explosion-type earthquake that lasted for 35 minutes. Bulusan volcano reactivated in March this year after being dormant for 11 years.
