Bulusan volcano erupted ash today at 5:15 pm local time, from an area on the SW side of the volcano. The renewed eruptions came after 4 months of relative quiet at the volcano.There were nine eruptions today, sending ash to 3 km high which drifted across the towns of Casiguran, Irosin, and Bulan. There were no warnings of the eruptions because the area has been without power sine the passage of typhoon Milenyo. There is a 4 km permanent danger zone around the volcano.
