Mayon Volcano (Philippines)

The main lava flow at Mayon volcano has reached within 100 m of the 6-kilometer Permanent Danger Zone. The lava flow has reached 2 kilometers longer than the 2001 eruption. Sulphur dioxide emission remains high at 7,050 tons per day. Residents of several villages around the volcano have been advised to prepare for evacuation.
