Yasur Volcano (Vanuatu)

Strombolian and mild Vulcanian eruptions continue at Yasur volcano. Three main active vents are visible inside the summit crater. Incandescent lava explosions reached 250 m above the crater, accompanied by loud explosions. On 7-8th March ash emissions increased at Yasur producing ashfall over villages withing 4 km of the crater. Projectiles were observed falling on the crater rim, 170 m from the vents.
